The CRESCER project promoted the internal “Kick-Off Meeting” on April 14 and 15, 2021, in a face-to-face and online format with the participation of the three simultaneous venues (Lubango in Angola, and Barcelona and Madrid in Spain) and about 30 people representing the five partners of the CRESCER project. This kick-off meeting addressed three key pillars of strategic issues of the project: programming of the scientific activities of the clinical trial, coordination of communication activities, visibility and dissemination of knowledge at various levels (municipal, provincial, national and international) and internal coordination between partners to begin identifying target communities for the research, as well as a special focus on the key role of ADECOS in promoting nutritional health.
The meeting was key to exchange knowledge and strengthen teamwork between national and international partners. The project has on the horizon to be able to scale up malnutrition research results with the best documented interventions to other regions of the country.
